Who we are

A1BuyCycles operates a1buycycles.co.uk from The Workshop, 28 Biggin Hill, Plymouth, PL5 2PN. We are the data controller for the personal data you give us when you browse, order or contact us.

What we collect

Your name, email, phone number and delivery address; order and payment references; messages you send us; and technical data such as IP address, device type and cookies.

Card details are entered directly with our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

To take and deliver your order, provide after-sales support and warranty help, prevent fraud, improve our website, and meet legal duties such as tax records.

We only send marketing emails if you opt in, and every email includes an unsubscribe link. We never sell your data.

Who we share it with

Couriers (to deliver your order), Stripe (to take payment), our e-commerce and hosting providers, and professional advisers where needed. Each only receives what they need for their part of the service.

Legal bases and your rights

Under UK GDPR we rely on contract (fulfilling your order), legitimate interests (running and improving our business), consent (optional marketing and cookies) and legal obligation.

You can ask to access, correct, delete or move your data, or object to how we use it. We keep order records for up to six years for tax and warranty purposes. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
